Our History

While attending college we started our company mindset years ago by doing general work after hours for family and friends. The first website was built for Carmon Construction in 2007, taking a month to complete, the site www.carmonconstruction.com is still in existence today. From April 2008 until April 2015 Ellen provided full time technology services to Anniston City Schools of Anniston AL as an on site subcontractor. This opportunity is where Ellen was able to grow and harness her education and technology skills. In April 2015 it was decided to take our part time work to a new level and open a physical storefront location at 623 Baltimore Ave Albertville, AL.

Mainstream Technology is owned and operated by Dennis and Ellen Armstrong. Dennis is formerly from Branson Tractor and now resides as Business Manager and Technical Assistance for Mainstream. Ellen has always had a dream of opening her own business but was never able to find anyone willing to take the risk. Dennis made the ultimate sacrifice and gave up his career, stepping out on faith, and was the reason Mainstream become reality. Dennis and Ellen have been married since March 2013 and have one son, Christian Bryant Armstrong. "Some people never get to live their dream... I'm proud to say that my dream is now my reality. I will always strive for excellence in every service I provide".

What we do

We provide businesses with a technology solution from virus removal to a complete system design and setup. We do provide residential support at the discretion of our staff. We pride ourselves on honesty and integrity and hope to one day be the main solution for the Elderly and Home Bound with in-home support.
